    Sherisse offers in-person therapy sessions in two accessible locations: Bondi Junction in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, and Pitt Street in the CBD, just moments from Martin Place and Wynyard Station. Both spaces are calm, confidential, and easy to reach by public transport. For added flexibility, online telehealth sessions are also available across Australia.

  • I draw on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, tailoring each session to suit your unique needs, goals, and experiences. My integrative style allows us to work in a way that feels both effective and comfortable for you.

    Therapies I may incorporate include:

  • I aim to make therapy as accessible and affordable as possible. As a general rule, my fees are set below the rates recommended by professional psychology bodies. If you have a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, Medicare rebates may apply, which can significantly reduce your out-of-pocket cost.

  • What to Expect in Your First Session

    Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a warm, open conversation. We'll explore what’s bringing you to therapy, any hopes or worries you may have, and what you’d like to get out of the process.

    I’ll carry out a comprehensive initial assessment to better understand your main concerns, personal history, and goals. Together, we’ll clarify what therapy might look like for you, including the most suitable approaches and how we can move forward.

    There’s space for reflection, questions, and sometimes even a few gentle therapeutic strategies in the first session. In some cases, I may also offer tools, resources, or optional take-home tasks to support you between sessions.

    Most importantly, this is your space—and we move at your pace.

  • All sessions are treated as strictly private and confidential. This includes any information shared during your assessment, diagnosis, or treatment.

    Confidentiality will only be broken in rare circumstances, such as when:

    • Your file is subpoenaed by a court of law, or

    • There is an immediate or serious risk of harm to yourself or another identifiable person.

    Your privacy and trust are deeply respected, and any limits to confidentiality will always be clearly discussed with you.

    • I am a member of the Australian Psychological Society and registered with the NSW Psychologists’ Registration Board.

    • I have been in private practice for over 15 years.

    • My training includes an internship at a psychiatric hospital (The Sydney Clinic).

    • I am often invited as a keynote speaker at conferences and consult to organisations to improve the mental wellbeing of their teams.
